Hi friends!

Here is part 3 of our Valentine’s CAL and I hope you`ve enjoyed making this mouse couple and that you are ready for more! This week I have made an adorable tiny baby crochet mouse pattern to complete the mouse family! I also added some essential accessories that a baby needs, a little baby cradle and a soft and cuddly baby blanket!

This mouse is so tiny, but believe it or not, it was not so fiddly to make this little creature! I used the leftovers from the yarn that I used for Malvin and Lisa, but I switched to a smaller hook.

Then I made tiny ears, a little cradle, and a baby blanket. This mouse family would be such a lovely play set for little children to play with, especially little girls! I have a son myself, and he is playing with cars all day, but I am sure some boys would love it too!

Now that the baby is here, the mouse family is complete, maybe there will be bigger siblings in the future, but for now, I am finished with the CAL.

If you haven’t made the parents yet, Lisa and Malvin are also free patterns that you can find here on my blog!

For the baby blanket, I’ve used the woven stitch and this is such an easy stitch pattern that you can apply for many projects, like a big blanket, scarf, dishcloth or washcloth.

I even made a stitch pattern graph with Illustrator, so you can easily follow the stitch pattern for the banket, or you can create your own unique projects! I love this stitch and I am also planning more patterns where I will use it in the future, so stay tuned!

The baby cradle is made in rows then I simply crocheted around it for a couple of rounds. This is really an easy pattern!
