Are you into yarn and crocheting too? Then you have come to the right place because this is the place to hang out for crafty “yarnoholics”. My goal is to create simple, fun and cute crochet patterns that everyone can make!
Who am I, do you ask? My name is Ragnhild (yes, my name is hard to pronounce because it’s Norwegian). I am born and raised in Norway, and in 2006 I meet the love in my life in Sevilla, Spain, while studying aboard. A couple of years later, I moved to Germany where I still live.
However, I don’t speak Spanish, but I do speak Norwegian, German and English! Most importantly, I speak crochet! A language I learned while I was pregnant with my son. I wanted to make him something homemade. I stumbled upon crocheting, and since that, I have never looked back!

The story behind the name Yarnhild
I choose this name because it is similar to my own, the Ragn is replaced with Yarn. You pronounce it “Yarnhill”. So, it means a Hill of Yarn, I guess 🙂
